主要研究大块Ag-In基准晶和近似相单晶的生长,并基于大块准晶分析材料的结构、物性和表面性质。制备了目前国际上最大尺寸Ag-In基准晶和近似相单晶;系统研究了Ag-In-Yb准晶的物理性质,对准晶物理性质各向异性提出了新的解释;系统研究了Ag-In-Yb正二十面体准晶的表面结构和稳定机制。
